It seems to happen with such regularity in the summer now that I come to expect it. Yellow jackets start building nests in the ground in my lawn, I run over the entrance with my lawn mower and piss them off, then I get stung! I wrote about it happening for the first time here. Last year I had one stuck in my hair and got zapped on my head over and over again. Had a nasty headache for the rest of the day. Today wasn’t too bad, one on the knee and one on my stomach. The pain is gone now and I’m left with that annoying itch.

A look at Z day
Yesterday, day 23, Z words stuck out for me.
Started the day with Zumba class.
While I cooked burgers on the grill for lunch, I noticed my zinnias have really taken off this year. Especially these hot pink and orange ones.
There’s one creamy yellow one that kind of stands out from the crowd.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen one this color before.
A little project sprang to mind yesterday too. It has to do with catharsis and closure. No Z words there, but I will be going through about a zillion photos to complete it!
Those are many of my old fashioned photo albums. You can’t see all that I have in the house, but those are the ones I determined have photos in them I want to consider for the project. Many will have to be scanned because I either never stored them online, can’t find where they were online, were contained on a long-since-dead hard drive or were taken before I’d gone completely digital. I’ll tell you more about the project as I get further along. Some of you can probably guess what it is about.
