I’m tired. Dress rehearsal for recital was last night.

(Just a few of the very many dances my daughters perform in. Yes, I danced too – no pictures of me to share!)

Achy and tired. But life goes on. My head swirls with thoughts. Recital tonight. Gotta do it all over again. Speaking of doing it all over again, I made Meghan put all her graduation garb back on so we could have some sunny day pictures. Here’s a few favorites:

Having fun with it

School is almost over. Just Monday and Tuesday left. School over, dance over – the pace of life will slow for the summer. Still have the grad party to plan for, but that will be easy with more free time.

These little guys have flown the coop:

Flying the coop. Not too long til my grad does the same.

Searching through pictures. Deciding what to share. I really like the light in this photo, even though the flowers are past their peak:

Still taking photos for the June challenge. Hope you are too.

  1. All the rush rush rush to hurry up and get to time to relax, huh?

  2. Don’t you and Meghan look lovely together! All three gradualtion photos would look great in a frame (or three!) The rush will be over soon, and think of the relaxing you will be able to do then. 🙂

    • I have so many happy photos from this time of year, Joanne, I’m not sure what I’ll do with them all! Some should definitely be destined for frames. Deep breath… it is almost here.

  3. Such awesomeness! How does she balance that way on her feet? Such princess! Can I also attend the party too? I’d be glad to meet the celebrity. Life’s so exciting, when there are such wonderful events happening. Do take sufficient rest, Karen 🙂

    • Wouldn’t it be fun if we bloggers could get together for a party? I’ll be sure to share pictures here on the blog. Meghan has been working at that style of dance for 6 years now. The shoes she wears – pointe shoes – help her achieve that balance.
The time for resting is coming soon.
      Thank you Sonali.

  4. All of it so pretty, your girls and your flowers. As frantic as it is – it’s a special time you’ll always remember. Time enough to rest once the festivities are done and your senior has settled into her next phase of life.

  5. Lovely post, Karma, with beautiful images. Love the graduation pics, and the light in the last one is marvelous. I can see why you like it. As rushed as your life sounds, your words come across in a relaxed, almost peaceful, manner.

    • Thank you Robin. As busy as we’ve been, I’ve been trying my best to not stress and roll with it all. Maybe that’s why the words aren’t too harried. 🙂
