Hello friends! It has been a while since I’ve posted, but I want you to know I’ve been thinking of you! I didn’t get to do my usual weekend catching-up with blogging – visiting, commenting or posting. That’s because I’ve been here this past weekend:
Bourne Bridge

I did take a few pictures this weekend, but I won’t have the time to review them and post tonight because this starts tonight:

It is starting in just a few minutes as I type!Β  Hope you had a great weekend and I hope to catch up with you soon!

  1. I’ve heard so much about “Mad Men”. Can’t believe I haven’t seen it. That poster is amazing !

    Hope the show was good.

    • Mad Men is really interesting Sybil. It’s worth checking out some time if you get the chance.

  2. You’ve spent your week-end on a bridge? Counting cars?? πŸ˜‰
Never heard of that show before…but if I check the DVR, I’m sure the resident TV addict is recording it LOL

    • Actually it felt like I spent time on the bridge counting cars! One of the 2 bridges to Cape Cod had construction on it (one lane open each direction) and I sat for an hour traffic as it merged. Bleah!
I don’t watch a ton of tv, but Mad Men is worth viewing.

  3. Have never seen the show…or that particular bridge…but there’s a first for everything! Hope the show was good and the weekend on the Cape was excellent as well!

    • I enjoyed the show and the Cape was fun. Thanks Dawn.

  4. OK. There is a naked person on that poster. Or, rather, a naked mannequin. Is your blog now x-rated? Will agents storm over here and make sure small children don’t pause? Have you gone somewhere for this unknown show or did the show come to you via DVD? Awaiting eagerly your answer.

    • Hee, hee! Gee, I hope my blog isn’t x-rated now!
“Mad Men” is a tv show on the cable network AMC. It’s latest season has taken quite a while for it to return to television.
I was using my weekend visiting my mom on Cape Cod and the premiere of that show on Sunday night as my excuse for my slackerly blogging habits this past weekend!

      • Glad you explained THAT! πŸ˜‰

  5. Saturday must have been downright amaz-ING at the cape! Looks like you and about a thousand other folks had the same idea. πŸ™‚ Did you go just for the day or do you have/rent a place?

    • Saturday wasn’t so amazing on Cape Cod, unfortunately. After the week of 70’s and 80’s in western Mass, the weekend turned cooler, and Cape Cod was cooler still. It didn’t matter though – five women (my sister, my mother, my daughters and me) had a great time shopping together and going out to eat! My mom lives in South Yarmouth.

  6. I’d forgotten all about Mad Men. M and I have been watching the past seasons via Netflix. I’ll have to see if there’s another season available. Thanks for the reminder! πŸ™‚

    • It’s a great show, isn’t it? I love all the detail from the time period that this show takes into consideration.
