7 Things about Me, Day 5

I have a guilty pleasure.  It is this TV show:

I used to watch it from time to time when it was on Monday nights after “Two and Half Men” – back before all that business with Charlie Sheen went down.  Then CBS changed its timeslot and I lost track of it.  A few months ago, TBS started showing the syndicated episodes.  I’ve gotten hooked all over again.  The cast of nerdy scientists strikes a chord with me.  I always felt like the nerd in high school, and I’ve thought more than once that if I could’ve tackled this beast:

I  might have been a great scientist myself.  My high school chemistry teacher dampened my love of science quite a bit with these awful weekly quizzes about combining elements and molecules and he wouldn’t let us look at the periodic table when we took the quizzes!  Why should anyone have to memorize that sucker?  There are tables for a reason – so you can look at them!  Sorry, I’ll get off my soapbox on that one.

Anyway, if you ever find yourself in need of a laugh, tune in to this one some night.  You don’t have to be a nerd like me to enjoy it!
