“A Different Kind of Story”

The photo prompt got personal today: “Today, share a little something about you: where you’re at, what you’re doing, how you’re feeling. It can be serious, revealing, playful or a little of each. Anything goes. Capture something that will give us a glimpse into your world.”

I realize this shot is no masterpiece of photography.  It is, however, a glimpse into my life.  I was trying to think of a way to show the general tumult of my daily life, while still showing some of my interests that help to make me, me.  While I was arranging the books and trying to fit them into my shot, Meghan popped in under the table and I started catching little corners of her face.  Then Teddy’s nose snuck in too, and it just seemed right.

  1. Ha,ha. I was going to ask you what was sticking up Meghan’s nose — now I can definitely tell that is Teddy. LOL!

    • Teddy up the nose is unfortunately a common occurance around here! 😉

  2. Yup, that was going to be my question, too! Glad it’s Teddy.
Fun photo, and it did tell at least one story!

    • Not sure what story it really told, except that it is virtually impossible to do anything here without one of the dogs getting involved! Can’t even eat a meal without a piece of fur in it – how about you Gerry? Ever experience a dog-hairless meal?

    • Thanks. I was scrambling for any idea last night and trying not to be too dreary.

  5. It is right! It’s perfect! This shot would have been not nearly as interesting without Meghan and Teddy. And not nearly as personal.

    • I agree – it would have been truly boring without them.

  6. J’adore cette photo ! Un instantané de la vie, on voudrait arranger, planifier et puis, soudain, l’imprévu ! C’est la vie 🙂
