All dressed up
*****SIGH***** My 15-year-old, ready for the semi-formal dance at her school this past Friday night.
She’s beautiful! Love her dress!

She’s gorgeous! I know my time with them young is limited. I need to take a breath and soak it in more and more.

Oh my gosh, she looks SO grown up here. And how ironic that her baby pictures are right behind her!

She looks beautiful. But, yes, they grow up WAY too fast and it is so sad for the parents. Wish we could keep them little much longer.

Wow…lucky guy! She looks like a Hollywood starlet from the 1940’s.

I’m right there with you…the 13 year old in my house is quite the young lady as well…rattles me at times when I think about how fast life is speeding ahead.

It’s amazing how much older girls look when they dress for a formal or semi-formal event. Even my little 5-year-old granddaughter looked suddenly so much older when they applied make-up and did her hair up for her dance recital.
And yes… *sigh* … they DO grow up too fast.

Holy crap! Nice dress. Who did her hair? Those curls aren’t natural in our family. 😉

p.s. – Now might be a good time for me to remind her of that one time she threw up her whole bottle on my lap when I was wearing a new outfit for the first time. Hee hee.

I did her hair! Got out the ol’ Caruso curlers.

Thanks, everyone! Is that the right thing to say when someone compliments your child? Are we allowed to take credit for that as parents? Well, I think it is, so thank you all very much.

Stunning! I agree with the others – she looks elegant like a 1940’s starlet. What a beauty!
