Extra, Extra!

Hey, today’s post – that one about “Scattered”?- that was my 100th blog post!  I’ll wait a second while you go back and read it if you haven’t already.  Shouldn’t I have some sort of blog-o-bration for reaching 100 posts?  Did anyone’s kids (like mine) ever have those 100th day of school celebrations in elementary school?  I feel like I should do something like come up with a give-away (dustbunnies?  dog fur? Sycamore tree leaves?  No?) or issue a photo challenge.  I should probably leave those to Scott.  Any ideas?

Scattered – Picture Fall, day 19

When I saw the title of today’s prompt, the first thing thought I had was, “How am I going to take a picture of my mind?”  That probably wouldn’t work unless I mixed up some Jello and tossed odds and ends inside.  So I moved on.  Find the beauty in the haphazard and strewn about things in my life.  Hmmm, I’m sure you don’t want to see a picture of my laundry or my daughters’ bedroom floors.  So this is what I came up with:

These metal balls are scattered on my dining room rug each evening, then carefully picked up and placed into a cup – by Meghan’s toes!  Meghan had been having some pain after her pointe class recently, so we went to see a physical therapist.  He made some recommendations for strengthening various parts of her dancing self, including her feet.  Five minutes each night picking up “Magnetix” toys with the toes is supposed to help her get her natural arch back in her feet.  We shall see!
