Just had to share these comic strips of the Buckets with all the great photographers I’ve been lucky enough to get to know through blogging! It made me chuckle, and I hope it does the same for you. I think we are all “of an age” to get a laugh from Mrs. Bucket’s lament. Reminds me of photography class in college. Have a great weekend!

PPS- I know we all love our digital cameras, and I for one could never go back to film! I hope Mrs. Bucket discovers how awesome they are in the next few strips!
LOL! This is hilarious! I’ve been a digital shooter for over 10 years now so I can’t really relate to Mrs. Bucket’s predicament, but many of my elderly students are in this boat. Some are even experienced film photogs yet cannot figure out what to do with a digital camera! Once I convince them how easy it really is, I send them on their way!

LOL….she’s funny. I could not get to digital fast enough once Nikon released the D70. I had tried a D100 and didn’t like it but the D70, IMO, was the first real digital SLR Nikon made which worked like a film camera with all the advantages of digital. Oh, that I could afford. 🙂

LMAO… So funny… Reminds me of how long it took me to move from film to digital all those years ago… but then I ONLY stuck to film as the quality of digital wasn’t there in the beginning… As soon as it reached the required level I switched and never looked back… 🙂

That is so true about the quality not being there! I remember being given a digital point-and-shoot camera years ago when my girls were much younger and thinking “why would anyone want to take pictures that look like this?” I went back to my film camera until a few years later when the megapixels improved in affordable cameras.
