When I read this morning’s email containing the day’s photo prompt, I thought at first it had to be a mistake. The instructor must have forgotten that she already sent us this prompt. So I waited for further instructions, later in the day for another prompt, but nothing came. It was worded slightly differently, but it seemed to me it was basically the same as the one for Little Reminders. Oh well, I went ahead and photographed another message – but I went for a “self-portrait” with a bit of humor this time:
Since tonight is the first game of the American League Championship Series, I will be rooting for the Texas Rangers to beat that other team.
Lol… I’m guessing there’s a wee bit of healthy competition between Yankees and Red Sox fans then eh… So who came out on top last season then…

Oh, there’s definitely some competition there, Brian – but I don’t know how healthy it is, LOL! Red Sox – Yankees is one of the most famous rivalries in American sports of all time.

LOL… I’m soooo NOT a sprts fan! Only sports I “suffer through” is kiddie soccer/basketball. Thankfully we don’t have to deal with either right now
So who won??
My nephew was rooting for the Rangers yesterday, and posted it on his fb status. I commented “Go Yankees!”, but ONLY because that worked in football for the Ravens. Twice!
So even though I don’t really care who won, I do kinda hope it was the Rangers, because I don’t want anyone blaming ME for their loss LOL

I was never a huge sports fan when I was younger, but this is one sport that has really grown on me. And now that I understand the game so much better, I enjoy it more. The rest of the year, I can’t really be all that bothered with sports.
